e-News® | The NEWS Company…DHAKA, July 21, 2014 -The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has cancelled freedom fighter’s (FF) gazettes and certificates of 35 government officials, said an official release of the ministry here today.
To this effect, a gazette notification has been sent from the concerned ministry for publication. The order related to this has been issued in a gazette notification undersigned by deputy secretary of the ministry M Salimullah under article 6 of the list 41 of the Rules of Business of 1996 Schedule -1 (Allocation of Business), the release said.
Out of them, the gazettes and certificates of 32 officials– -30 officials have been cancelled based on the reports received from the National Security Intelligence (NSI) and 2 from the deputy commissioners, the gazette and certificate of two others were due to under-aged and the rest one for holding two gazettes and certificates.
Earlier, the government has cancelled the gazettes and certificates of 116 freedom fighters.
